Stop the chemical shit-storm in your body.

When it comes to health, what you put ON your body can be just as important as what you put IN it.

Yes, nutrition is very important, and we want to make the best choices we can when it comes to sourcing and quality.

But what good is all that organic produce if we are adding toxic products on our skin—our largest organ?

I started paying attention to what I was putting on my body when I began studying nutrition. I was super overwhelmed trying to find cleaner skincare and makeup that actually worked and felt good. I was tired of slippery oil everywhere. I couldn’t find makeup I liked (or that worked), so I actually just stopped wearing it for a year.

I grew tired of hearing how tired/worn out I looked (blonde eyelash problems), and did some research into cleaner products. What caught my attention about BeautyCounter was their mission to get safer products into the hands of everyone. They never formulate with over 1800 toxic/potentially toxic ingredients, most of which are banned in other countries but yet make it into our products in the US (beauty and skincare industry is not regulated by the FDA).

I started by ordering mascara, and was so impressed by the quality I become a member. After a year of trying various products, from makeup to skincare to sunscreen, I decided I wanted to join BeautyCounter’s mission to get safer products into the hands of everyone and became a consultant.
